Child-Parent Relationship Training is an evidence-based, play therapy–driven program that strengthens the bond between parents and children while addressing behavioral, emotional, social, and attachment challenges.
Grounded in decades of research, CPRT has been shown to:
Reduce or eliminate behavioral problems
Improve parent-child connection
Build responsibility and self-control in children
Boost children’s self-esteem and confidence
Increase warmth and positive feelings between parent and child
What to Expect
Parents participate in weekly sessions within a supportive group environment, led by a play therapist trained in CPRT. Through hands-on learning, parents gain tools to better meet their child’s emotional and behavioral needs. Skills focus on empathy, effective communication, and consistent boundaries—all designed to create a more harmonious and secure home environment.
Benefits for Families
By the end of the program, parents often report a deeper understanding of their child’s needs, improved family relationships, and greater confidence in their parenting abilities—while children benefit from feeling more secure, understood, and empowered.
